Vintage cardboard excelsior egg postal box originally used to post eggs from the farm to customers in the second world war.
The cardboard is still very sturdy with a split to one corner join. Lovely clear writing EGGS to all four sides and the lid with address space which has been used to send eggs to a Mrs W Groves of Twickenham.
The inside is nice and clean.
Perfect to use simply for display or as a storage box in your kitchen.
