Originally used to kneel on to keep your clothes dry while you did your washing down by the river or in the local wash house these wash boxes now make wonderful shelves or display stands. Hang on a wall or stood on a table top and filled with some of your favourite things.
This one is a real beauty. Great shape and with the most wonderful patina. It has some wear and marks but no more than you would expect from something that has spent most of its life being knelt on and wet!
