Antique Watercolour Painting of an Apple

We have been lucky enough to find a wonderful colllection of antique watercolour paintings most dated around 1889 to 1900 and all by the same hand.

Painted on art paper this one is of a simple apple with lovely detailing. It is dated to the top right corner February 1889.

The paper has spots of foxing, as you can see, but this we feel adds to the paintings history and appeal.
