RUSTIC FRENCH PAINTED WASH BOX

Lovely French wash box in what remains of its original dark green paint. There's some minor knocks and a little patch of historic wood worm too that all add to its charm.

Originally used by French women to knee on while they washed the clothes to keep their skirts clean and dry. They now make wonderfully simple shelves to either hang on the wall or sit on your kitchen counter.
